Mission:

We at the Canadian Robot Wildlife Service strive to create electric wildlife and the support systems by which they function, with a particular focus on low voltage migratory animals.

Mandate:

The Canadian Robot Wildlife Service is the lead Canadian department for a wide range of robotic Canadian wildlife issues. The department addresses these issues through various actions:

The Canadian Wildlife Service, a federal government department, had an extensive public outreach arm that created things like educational videos about Canadian wildlife. A series of funding cuts from the mid 80’s to 2000’s killed this portion of its mission. We’ve decided to appropriate and resurrect their banned from official use logo and mission statement, mandate, and well, basically everything else we found in their pockets… but with some minor updates.

Built in 2015 for the Calgary Maker Faire, Lester has since been involved in numerous Canada Day festivities, multiple citizenship ceremonies, and plenty of other shenanigans.
